What is FastStone Image Viewer

It is an image-viewing and editing utility that is free, fast, light-weight and versatile.

You can view images in different methods. The standard image browser will display image thumbnails with a preview window for the selected file. Randomly selected pictures can also be viewed in full-screen mode. In this mode, other tools and options of FastStone Image Viewer are also accessible. For instance, the EXIF information becomes accessible in the full-screen mode.

In addition to viewing images, you can also improve the quality of pictures. Add a stylish frame on the image to reduce sharp edges. For 3D graphics, the program offers a bump map option great for texturing. Other standard tools include adjustment of brightness, sharpness and darkness, and removal of red eye.

You can also resize, crop, compare and retouch images. When resizing images, there are eleven re-sampling algorithms to choose from.
